New premium coworking space in Dusseldorf
Berlin, 18.12.2017. Berlin, 14.3.2018. Satellite Office’s new coworking flagship in Dusseldorf has now officially opened. A total of 21 individual offices, team offices and a large coworking area for flexible working, a bistro, a fireside lounge and several Conference Rooms have been created on 850 square meters directly on Königsallee. Dusseldorf is the first Satellite Office location in NRW.
True to the Berlin-based company’s growth strategy, the Düsseldorf location – like all Satellite Office business and coworking centers – is situated in a historic, impressive palace in a prime location. The Girardet Haus (Kö / corner of Trinkhausstraße) was built in 1906 for the Girardet publishing house and is now a listed building. The facades are adorned with works by the Düsseldorf sculptor Albert Pehle.
This strategy not only contributes to Satellite Office’s high quality standards but also ensures our distinctiveness,” says Anita Gödiker, CEO and owner of Satellite Office. “Customers come to us who want to work in a quiet atmosphere at a prestigious address.” Many lawyers, coaches, management consultants and even entire project offices of large corporations are among Satellite Office’s customers.
On the inside, the new flagship bears the signature of Anita Gödiker. Many years of experience in the design of modern workplaces make up the “signature style” of Satellite Office. In the fireplace lounge, many a confidential conversation can be held by the flickering fire. The Conference Rooms with a view of Königsallee, a library and beautifully designed open areas such as the Italian café bar and the individual coworking space provide the perfect environment for working and for business meetings of all kinds. The flagship is not only rounded off by state-of-the-art technology, but also by many small, loving details such as Capellini lamps, unusual wallpaper and high-quality custom-made products.
Further openings are planned for the coming months and years. “I’ll talk about that when the ink is dry,” smiles Gödiker. “But the fact is that the demand for flexible workspaces has more than tripled in the last five years, which calls for further growth,” says the pioneer of the German business center industry. Twenty-one years ago, she turned the idea of “office sharing” into a business model. And it is still successful today.
