Berlin, August 14, 2017: Satellite Office Business & Coworking Center is relaunching its start-up prize this summer under the name “WSC – Women Startup Challenge 2017”. We are looking for women who have recently founded or want to found a company with a promising idea. The basis for the application is a business plan, which will be evaluated by a jury of several members. The application documents can be requested online via the homepage. Three prizes will be awarded: A company headquarters office with address, workstations in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Dusseldorf or Zurich. The meeting rooms in the locations and the coworking desks can also be used. Three office packages that can promote business and image, especially in the first year. For the duration of the funding year, the three winners will become members of the Satellite Office Business Club and gain access to important impulse events. The opportunity to present the business idea to investors should also be particularly exciting.

Anita Gödiker, owner and managing director of Satellite Office, founded her own company twenty years ago and ran into many closed doors. There was no support from banks, business or politics. Especially not for women. At the time, Gödiker launched the “Female Entrepreneur Award for Berlin”. She wanted to draw attention to this shortcoming.
