New opening of offices and flexible workplaces at Römischer Hof, Berlin

Berlin’s leading business center provider, Satellite Office GmbH, is opening its fifth business center in the capital this week. Unter den Linden 10 offers a total of 38 individual and team offices, various lounge areas, dining areas, a fireside lounge and conference rooms of various sizes on the 3rd floor, covering an area of 1,423 m². Even before the opening, 52% of the offices have been let.

Berlin is booming, hip and popular all over the world. As a result, the demand for flexible offices and workplaces has increased enormously in recent years. Satellite Office has picked up on this trend and consistently developed the business centers of the 1990s, thus becoming a trendsetter itself. “Our balanced mix of fully equipped offices, temporary workstations and open spaces such as diners and bistro areas have become meeting places for entrepreneurs in the global and digital world,” says Anita Gödiker, Managing Partner of the company, explaining the high occupancy rate. These office platforms are now available at Römischer Hof, Unter den Linden 10, for start-ups, medium-sized and large companies with high expectations of a stylish working environment. Using the good address as a virtual office, as a business address or for the company headquarters is also very much in vogue as a mix of home office and central top address. Classics such as secretarial services, coworking desks, Conference Rooms, meeting rooms, temporary offices and rental offices are also available. A new feature is the option to become a member of the Satellite Office Community. This entitles you to use all network areas in all locations, even across metropolitan areas. Highlights at the Römischer Hof include the library, the diner and the spacious vintage lounge – Journalists are invited to a tour followed by breakfast on Tuesday, March 25.

Satellite Office GmbH is an owner-managed company founded in 1997. The idea of offering discerning customers innovative and individual office solutions only in listed, historic properties in top addresses and as part of a personal and courteous service makes the company the market leader in the high-end sector of the business center industry in Germany. In addition to prime locations in Berlin, such as the Cumberland Haus at Kurfürstendamm 194, Friedrichstrasse 200 and Charlottenstrasse 68, the Satellite Office Business Centers are also present at the finest addresses in Hamburg, at Neuer Wall 10 on the corner of Junfgernstieg, and in Munich at Ludwigpalais at Ludwigstrasse 8. Now, the Römischer Hof adds another magnificent building to the location portfolio.

The Römischer Hof is a house with history. The beautiful Kontorhaus on Berlin’s Unter den Linden boulevard was one of the few buildings not to be completely destroyed during the Second World War. After being gutted in 2005, the building was renovated by architect Axtelm Frinken using pictures and documents dating back to 1775 and transformed into a modern office building. The façade, which was destroyed in the Second World War, was fitted with an attractive glass insert. The Römischer Hof was last known as the Grand Hotel de Rome, which was one of the most prestigious hotels in Berlin. The Pannewitz Gang, who broke into a safe in 1951, made the hotel somewhat famous. This story was filmed in 1989 under the title “Der Bruch” with Götz George, Rolf Hoppe and Otto Sander.
